…was two days ago.
As is our custom, we had the tree decorated a couple weeks ago, and the kids found their presents under the tree in the morning. But since school days are busy, we waited until after dinner and homework to open them.

And the boys open a gift from Uncle John:

and then they use the gift!

Notice Lucky trying to figure out where his chess piece belongs!

Okay, eight of the better pics of the fellows… outside OMSI, then by the Millenium Falcon exhibit…

Jedi with Yoda ad Mace Windu, then meeting the Princess and her droids…

Jedi with a wookie and a scoundrel, and a young man with cool ride…

finally Three Jedi Knights, then a Jedi with friendly storm troopers.

of the Star Wars exhibit on now at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
Go. DO buy tickets in advance (even over the internet or phone worth the $2/per ticket handling fee to avoid long lines).
DON’T do the Millenium Falcon simulator. Tickets are for timed entry. They are $5 each, plus $2 handling fee if you order by internet or phone. We stood in line over 40 minutes, for a 5 minutes simulation, which was probably wonderful from the front two seats, but a bit less realistic from the back two… You heard me right. Only four seats… which is why it took so long. Had they done tickets in 15 minute blocks of people, instead of one-hour blocks, we could have let the kids explore the science museum a bit more.
The actual Star Wars exhibit, on the other hand… very nice, and more tomorrow when I have pics downloaded from the camera.
